We bring diversity to bear on all our research and teaching activities, addressing such diverse topics as motivation, leadership, (un)ethical behavior, occupational health, aging at work and career development, creativity and innovation, and personality and assessment.
Questions we focus on are, for example: When and why do managers and leaders show dysfunctional or even abusive behavior? Why is innovation so difficult to achieve in organizations, even though people value creativity? How do employees deal with their own and each other’s emotions at work? Which factors contribute to work motivation and well-being? How can people develop their talents throughout their career and as they grow older?
We enjoy collaborations with researchers, professionals, and organizations, both within and outside of the Netherlands.
