Dr. Kiki de Jonge - Blended working, effective brainstorming, and well-being at work during and after the Corona situation - Interview in the magazine of a.s.r. insurances.
I discuss how working (partly) online also offers interesting opportunities for creativity and innovation through online brainstorming: "This is also a good time to use online tools for effective brainstorming, which Kiki pays attention to in her research and in her own company Groeiflow. When you're brainstorming with each other physically, you sometimes forget your own ideas, for example because more dominant colleagues are speaking and demand attention. You also run the risk of going along with the other person's opinion before you have spoken. This is all different if you use chat, Google Docs or online brainstorm tools to first write down your own ideas and later share them to others. In such online brainstorm settings, people come up with more creative and innovative ideas more often. And this form of online brainstorming will now be easier integrated for all of us, now that we have made tremendous progress online due to the Corona situation."
